Zak is the third book in the SEAL Team Seven series. I strongly suggest you start with Connor and then read Logan before reading this one. It is one, continuous, wonderful story about 7 men who fought together as SEALs and came home to share a business and live close together. In this book, Zak reunites with the love of his life. They had fallen in love when she was a marine and they were both stationed in Afganistan. They had broken up and not seen each other for about 2 years, but they both still loved the other.
Zak is very possessive and protective, and they start to rebuild their relationship when he finds out something that shocks him -- it sends him into a very bad place in his mind. Vanessa loves him and tries to get him to talk to her, but he is too angry. When he learns more, he feels really bad about himself, but her love heals him.
It was a great book!

I loved it... Simple as that! First of all, you can never go wrong when you pair Jordan Silver's writing and a hot alpha male! The friendships between the guys of SEAL Team 7 are phenomenal and I love reading about each one's fall into the world of love and family. I first fell in love with Connor, then Logan and now Zak... Guess now it is time to "stalk" for Ty's story! Well done Jordan!!!
I'm sorry, but this story is just too hard to read with all of the typos and incorrect English. Author seems to have a pretty good story but should invest in an editor to fix all of the problems.
If you have ever read a Jordan Silver book then you know what you're getting. A man that is strong, sexy, assertive and the embodiment of love. And for those of you that are new to her novels, what took you so long. This author can weave you a story that captures you from the first sentence. She mixes great storytelling with strong, loving men that will do everything for their women and let's not forget family and friends. There is romance, action, laughter and let's not forget hot as hell sex in every book.if you are looking for a man that still knows how to be one then step on in you won't be disappointed. I know that out of everything this author has written I have never been.
Zak's story is an improvement over the last one of Logan's story. Since it is a series with a cliff hanger and therefore incomplete I can't really give it a complete review not having any thing but a lot of loose ends. I don't see the marketing of cliff hangers as a plus but more of a turn off and I refuse to be played. Sets of COMPLETED books in a series I really love as you become familiar with the characters but in different scenarios, mysteries, and endings that you can stay up reading and FINISH.
Jordan Silver has done it again. Every book in this series gets better and better. Zak is uber alpha and the sex scenes were HOT! The storyline was fast paced and caught you from the first page. Watching Zak learn how to take care of his little girl was just beautiful. Jordan Silver delivers alpha men, hot sex and HEA. I cannot wait for the next book in the series.
Seal Team Seven, these are hard men, tough men, solid and loyal to a fault. Together unstoppable. There DNA made of steel, UNTIL that right woman comes along, then all bets are off. I thought Logan and Connor were over the top Alpha's but Zak is a whole nother animal. I love these guys, and they love with all they have. Men of old in the new age. This series has suspense, deceit, loads of humor and 7 Alpha men to die for. Their women are OK too -). Ms. Silver always get to the real heart of things in her stories, this one will melt your heart and have you laughing and crying too.
Zak is haunted by the love of his life that left him after his high handed comments. He didn't want his woman to reup for more military service. He wants Vanessa, a Marine specialist to retire and marry him. She has other plans and tells him she won't be controlled.
When Vanessa is sent home to the states without settling her issues with Zak he is devastated. He thinks she is lost to him forever. He can't decide if he is finished with her forever or he can't live without her.
At the point he thinks she's lost to him she shows up to deliver a key player in the Seals investigation. Zak is in shock that she is standing before him and he wants her back.
Life has gotten seriously dangerous on the waterfront and no one is safe.
Unknown people are turning up that are key players in this game. Slowly pieces are falling together.
Vanessa has one secret that she hopes she doesn't have to reveal, but it all falls apart when danger makes it necessary to lock down the compound.
Now Vanessa will see the soldier Zak really is.
I love this series & can't wait for the next book!
